Liebherr Standalone Freezer Problem

Hi, our Liebherr freezer has stopped working correctly. The alarm light and temperature light flash in sync for a few minutes, then stay on for a while, then start to flash again, etc. The serviceman (from a company called GloTech) ended up diagnosing that the control module (at the top of the freezer) has failed. He tried ordering a replacement but we were then told these are obsolete. I tried UK Whitegoods (this site) which listed the part as being in stock but then was told it was not and could not be obtained. I was wondering whether anyone out there might know where I could get one or who I could try (apparently Liebherr themselves say it’s obsolete), even a second-hand module as long as it’s known to be in working order. I guess this is my last-ditch attempt to try and resurrect what has been a great (and very expensive) freezer! Can anyone help?
