Hoover optima delay light

    Hoover optima ooh 616. Trying any wash program, the 3h delay light comes on, machine part fills then stops. No amount of trying will get the delay light off. After about 30 mins, light goes off, the button indicator lights flashes 8 times, stops then flashes again.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    please double check model

    also post long number inside door

    Model is OPH 616/2-80. Long no. 3100384611040002. Thanks

    if it is fault 8 its a motor fault

    check the motor brushes
