My son has a Zanussi single oven model number ZBF360X and its looking like the grill element and the oven element are not working. I’ve been checking prices of replacement parts which seem to be just under £100 for both. I then looked at the cost of a new oven and some don’t cost a lot more than the cost of the spare parts.

Can you advise me on whether it is worth fixing the existing oven which is 11 years old, or spend the money on a new oven, if so which would you recommend.

    Thank you

you say the oven and grill are not working but did they go one at a time or weeks apart

its very unlikely that 2 elements fail at the same time

if they have cost for both elements £80

if they did go at the same time its more likely a switch failure and you can check this for faulty contacts
