    Our Samsung RS20CCMS American style fridge freezer may have died after 13 years. It stopped cooling and freezing, ruining all the food. From investigating online I thought it might be the defrost sensor. So we emptied it and found ice all down the back of the freezer. On taking the back panels off we found that the pipes behind were all iced up too. We left it to defrost over night and I took the fan shrouding off to find underneath a scorched panel and melted plastic. I can only assume this is not normal!!! Strangely, we have never smelled any burning.Time for a new one?!!?

    Time for a new one as most all the parts are obsolete in any event.

    There’s lots of parts available still. It was down to cost but not after seeing this! Shopping around.
