My old AEG OKO Favorit 50750VI dishwasher is playing up again (I was on this forum last December about the leak prevention system), so I think it’s a sign from god that I need a new one.
What are the trusted brands and/or models these days?
I can’t afford Miele, but I suppose £500 is doable. £600 if it’s going to make a big difference.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
I’ve realised that the 2-beep error code coming from my current dishwasher signify either “sink outlet is blocked” or “drain hose is not correctly laid” (according to the manual). So a new dishwasher might not actually resolve the issue.
Problem is, I can’t find any evidence of a blockage in the outlet. The sink is draining perfectly normally.
Is it possible that a component has failed rather than there’s actually a blockage/hose issue?
