Wash Vac don’t list just carbon brushes for the Bosch WFK5730GB but they list CARBON BRUSH SHIELD INC. TACHO (bin number 020363) at £54 RRP.
I can’t tell from the picture if the brushes are included. The name doesn’t make it clear and the picture is of the motor end frame. Can anyone please confirm if brushes are included and if that is how they are supplied?

They want you to buy the entire brush ring Andy. Maddocks do loose ones for pennies – 12-BS-02 – or that nice Mr Conway’ll have them. 5 minutes with the soldering iron will do the trick.
There was a gen p/no – 021521 – but it doesn’t seem to work anymore.

I have not tried the Maddocks (12-BS-02) carbons yet but I did have an issue with the Parts Center (Invicta Brand) issue a while back as their’s being about as good as a chocolate teapot!
They are listed as Bin no: 022643 and you may notice still in the ‘comments’ section under that Bin no, that they quote…. ” this has been put on ‘restricted’ as stock may be wrong!”…….

Over a 12 month period (2002/3) I fitted 14 pairs of these carbons and of that lot I had 9 recalls 👿 . And since that time I have reverted back to fitting the genuine (096331) Motor End Housing/Brush Unit with no problems.
Another case for me where genuine parts proved best 😉
