Every washing machine I have had seems to have the odd issue with a the drum door interlock. Usually remedied by pushing it slightly. I recently got a Bosch WAN series machine, decided to pay a bit more than I usually do. This has the worst door interlock I’ve come across, at a guess it fails about 40{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time when used. Sometimes it takes a few goes to get it going, there is no logic it to it at all. The machine is under warranty, it looks like an easy job if it failed out of warranty.
I’m just wondering should these operate perfectly? They never have in my experience, but they have never, ever totally failed. Just had the same issue throughout the life of the machine. I guess I was expecting better from this machine, but its the worst I’ve had for this issue. Is this just a common annoyance with washing machines, or have I just been unlucky? Is it worth getting the issue sorted, or is it always likely to be there, just not as bad even if repaired. Thanks for any advice.
