    I’ve got an Ariston Hotpoint ARGD 169, and it just stopped working. No error codes come up, it locks the door, but doesn’t start the water. It just stays there looking dumb at me ….

    So I thought I could enter it into a diagnostic or test mode, but the manual doesn’t describe that option. Is there a way to do that on this machine, and if so, how ?

    In a word, no. There is no user accessible diagnostics for these appliances.
