AEG A75278GA Fridge Freezer

Hi All

PNC: 922863547-03
This unit has a good defrost heater but keeps freezing up the drain hole which then causes an ice build up to jam the fan up. I have found this technical bulletin which describes the issue and shows a potential fix. The problem is that when I looked at the unit I found that the drain hose connector is not the same as the one in the TB – does anyone know if this heater will still fit or is there a different part number for it?

when I looked it up seem one of the fixes is a new board so it sounds like a software change

Thanks for the information but the board list doesn’t show the PNC of the unit that I am working on.

can only see the first link

how different is the outlet ?

if you are able to fit the heater will it be close enough to the outlet. it only has to keep water in the liquid form to work so plus 0.5 degrees is fine

don’t do a lot of refrigeration so my knowledge is limited
