hi anyone had an issue with the child lock not releasing. normal hold options buttons not working. tried all combinations ie start button spin button error resets unplugging. anything i’m missing? thanks
i appreciate that dave but unfortunately that doesn’t work beeps but doesn’t have any effect on child lock
What is the machine doing ? is it showing the child lock is on ? I only ask as this unit seem to use the later solenoid lock. have had one or two of these locks where the wire breaks on the solenoid coil inside the lock. When you try to set a programme all goes well till you push the start button then it bleeps 3 times my cure was to strip lock and resolder wire as it breaks on the connection post

yes it’s showing the child lock is on. door is open and makes no difference open or closed. ill have a closer look at lick and try what you suggested. thanks
I have found that the machine has to be on the same programme it was on when the child lock was activated, so if someone has moved the dial its a guessing game. I just try it one programme at the time
