    After many years service and one semi-successful repair, the door catch release button on the front panel of our Sharp R-4G54(B)M/(W)M has given up the ghost. Is a new one available or do I have to get the glue gun out again 😥

    Is it just the button you need Willum (physically broken) ?

    I think from the model number it’s white, could you confirm please.

    Yep, just the button. The retaining lugs have broken off the back – again!! 😡 …………..and yes, it is white.

    The white one is now obsolete, but you can still get the brown one which may look a bit odd 😉

    Might have to be a coat of white plastic enamel if it looks TOO bad

    Doh……………:? picked up the wrong handbook for the microwave, got my son’s which was somehow lurking in the drawer. The real model number is:
    R-7A63(W)M
    which if I remember his properly, is the same front panel. Is it the same button/price/availability please??
