Anyone come across these newer AEG dishwashers where the element on the heat pump goes open circuit but also the circuit board no longer sends down 240 volts but a continuous 42 volts so if you were to replace the heat pump it would still not work. By the way is a diagnostic program on these circuit boards as it does not seem to be the same as the older models.
Markfound this out a while ago. unless there is a load across the heater terminals the prog wont turn it on
I resolved this by connecting an inlet valve across the heater wires and it energised it
