    having lots of trouble with this machine..does anyone know what error code f-05 means please?

    It refers to a water level control problem.

    Have you checked the filter etc for blackages ?

    Apart from that, it’s engineer time, check repairs@ and directories for one near you.

    checked the filter found a sock..how would a sock get into there?

    Quite easily and it’s one of the most common things removed from washing machine filters, pumps and hoses.

    They go down between the front of the stainless steel drum and the door seal.

    If they are babies socks, sometimes it’s best to purchase a “washbag” for small items such us these. Another common reason is overloading of the machine.

    Gladly it was a simple thing that you resloved yourself 😀

    I’ve deleted your other post which duplicated this one (almost).
