    Hi, I have the following De Dietrich oven (double under counter) FM4942U1/1.
    The problem is with the top oven which keeps switching itself off, doesn’t matter if you are using the grill or the oven it keeps switching off, I guess it’s temperature related as it will run for about 5 minutes then switch off for a minute before cpoming back on, as it warms up it switches off more frequently and stays off for longer. I know these are a slightly obscure brand and parts are difficult to get but any help would be great.

    there will probably be a cooling fan in the top of the oven
    it sounds like this fan is not coming on
    it may be stuck or the stat or control board is not working (depends on how its controlled )

    Did a bit more investigating and pretty sure it’s the thermal limiter, don’t think the part is available from Dr Dietrich so will see if it has any temperature values on it and see if I can get a generic one.
