Customer had carbon brushes fitted by another engineer a while ago.
She now has a leak on the machine that is not related but menchioned that since the brushes were fitted she has been unable to select a spin speed faster than 600 on any wash.
I have checked this out and as she explained, if I select the cottons wash which should allow a 1200 spin the indicator will only display a maximum of 600. When pressing the spin speed button the indicator cycles between the 600, Rinse hold and no spin.
In view of this though she says the clothes appear to come out dry enough and she feels it is porbablyspinning at 1200 even if showing 600 on the indicator.I know these machines have edditionalsettings that can be programmed but I could not find anything that woul change this behaviour.
Has anyone seen this before and know haw to rectify it?
