Can anyone advise me on buying an integrated tumble dryer. I’m trying to avoid a cheap, possibly dangerous or unreliable brand but there seems very little choice.

Not a very popular appliance so very little choice. White Knight WK43AW vented and the C8317WV vented sensor dryer are not bad units and the spares are always reasonably priced. Montpellier MTD175 again a vented dryer but with a two year guarantee. From experience the service and parts can be a little slow at times.
Then at the premium end there is the Miele T4819CI and it’s stainless steel partner the T4859CISS which are both condenser dryers. Miele are the best in the domestic arena with a price tag to match and Miele service is usually only carried out by their own service agents and spares can be more expensive than other brands.
