    I had to change the electric water heater, purged all the air while filling, mixer taps open on hot, still get spurting from any tap, could Cal be slightly blocking the outlet from the heater ? Thanks for all replies

    Try turning off & draining hot water system, leave all hot taps open slightly. Let water back into the system slowly keeping taps open until all air is out, close taps 1 by 1 and let system fill up. Hopefully no more air problems.
