Beko DHY7340W Dryer

    Have got 3 of these and possibly more that are not heating, anyone any ideas what it may be seeing as there these heat pump dryers.

    not sure of your experience on these but don’t expect them to heat like a normal dryer. this is effectively a de humidifier in a case. the only heat you have is waste heat from the compressor

    can probably get you the tech if you need it

    Any dealings av had with them Dave has been complains abou tthen talikg forever to dry and trying to explain that to customers as you know aint easy. Theres just nothing at all from these ones, theres about 30 of them in a block and av tried some of the others and there is abit of heat in them but these ones nothing, theres no error codes came up but maybe they dont unless your in test mode or something.

    Its like Dave says, you don’t feel any heat with these machines. I get loads of complaints from customers with these machines that have been sold them on the understanding that they are efficient. The customer isn’t told that they dont actually heat and take an eternity to dry a load.
    I’ve given up repairing them.

    The most common issue that I have found with them is that the fine mesh filter gets clogged with fine dirt – it looks clean but if you try to pour water through it then it just pools on the filter till you rub it between your fingers.
