    After switching the oven off from the wall switch, while the oven was cooking. The oven (lower) won”t heat up when the wall switch is switched back on again.
    The RCD has been reset. The cooker is 6 months old.
    Any ideas before I contact the warranty group? – DUSF636X model

    Could be one of a number of problems but you’ve possibly popped the control PCB, As it’s still under guarantee just contact your provider and let them deal with it.

    Thankyou for reply. – Spent 62 minutes a queue to Smeg and then got cut off without speaking to anyone. trying to ring 0344 557 9907

    Got a reply from Smeg Customer Service after I completed their online repair form. The form is on- http://WWW.smeg-service.co.uk – and the e mail is
    info@smeg-service.co.uk. – I’ll not be ringing their premium rate tele number again. The reply indicated a service engineer would contact me.

    Engineer called today and diagnosed the problem as a faulty fan element. He had a replacement in the van.
