Hi. I have recently got a Bosch tumble dryer WTWH7660GB. We had it put in by a plumber but I have noticed that I have to empty the water collect tray, whereas I thought a plumbed in heat pump condenser shouldn’t do this. Bosch have said it can’t have been plumbed in right. In the manual it says excess water could be from self cleaning. I don’t know what the answer is. Does anyone have this machine that can help? Thank you

I used the tumble today and checked the outside pipe into the drain, no water ran outside. So I’m not really understanding why it’s not going outside.

The pics are really small but often there will be a “link” hose, when in place it feeds water to the bottle.

Removed from one side and connected to a drain hose it will drain externally.

If you get it wrong, it’s not good. But it’s easy to figure out normally.

I have the same dryer as you and its a condenser container that needs emptying when full.

Hi LadyGardener – Did you ever get this problem with your Bosch tumble dryer WTWH7660GB fixed? We also had it put in by a plumber and I have noticed that I have to empty the water collect tray every time also. I checked and the pipes at the back look connected, so I’m not sure what the issue might be.
    Thanks!
