Hi, hopefully someone can advise help me?

Noticed my Bosch dishwasher (sms50m18gb) just 2 yrs 11 month old was collecting dirty water at the bottom after each wash. After process of searching for cause, I have noticed that there is a dripping from an inlet cap on LHS of the washer part number (looks like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-Cover-and-Seal-00623541/dp/B00PKR18P4) .

Does anyone know the cause/rectification of this?

    Thanks for the help

Thanks for your response, I will check that tonight. I did notice the arrow wasn’t facing directly up. Do I need a tool to tighten it?

    Thanks again

    Hi,

Did you manage to sort this problem.

Ideally, you need an allen key. I also wondered what size allen key is required. As I also need to remove it and check.

I was planning to remove the whole of water inlet contraption and clean it.

There is also another small interior water cap that need to be undone with an allen key. Need to know the size please.

you can use a pair of long nose pliers through the holes or as I do 3 screw drivers 2 drivers through opposite holes and the third as a lever between the 2

be careful and ease it off gently

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for the tip.

I can see water dripping behind the water inlet. Below the main cover.

I also need to remove the thread bolt which needs an allen key. Not sure which size.

you don’t need an allen key, never use one

cover with allen hole can be removed with long nose pliers or screw drivers as above

lower part 622267 is only a nut, pliers to loosen it then fingers to undo
