Anybody know why the machine would do this? I put the machine on last night to do the usual cotton wash at 30, came to unload it this morning and a number of items have been ruined and look like they have been boiled! I’ve put it on with a synthetic cold wash and it seems to be behaving on that. Obviously no heat at all though which isn’t great for getting the clothes clean.

I’ve never been happy with this machine, the dryer function hasn’t worked in about a year as I got fed up of paying for it to be repaired so even if I set it to dry it wouldn’t as the dryer heater doesn’t work.

No error codes showing on the display.

Put it on a 40 – 60° wash with no clothes in and see if the water boils, it could be a number of things but you would need to be able to do some Electrical testing with a multimeter to find out more.
