Can anyone please help me with my appliance fault. This model seems to have very little info on line.It works in every respect except heating the water,it doesn’t display any fault codes and the heater resistance is fine ,25 ohms. There is no power to heater .I can’t find the temperature probe,or is it included in the optical sensor housing?Any help would be appreciated.

    check wiring first

on some whirlpool dishwashers the wire breaks as it leaves the bottom of the door

next is to open the board and check for bad solder joints on the heater relay

early units have separate ntc later ones its combined as you say

if you can find the ntc wires it should reads 58k at 20 degrees falling to 11.8K at 60 degrees

“K4” Relay for the heater looks like the problem – the housing has burn marks and the solder connection is black & corroded.Looks like a trip to Currys with the wife, the machine is over 6 years old , it’s not failed before so i think we had a good run from it ! Thanks for your time Dave.KR Gary.

unless you want to get a relay and solder it in

did that yesterday on a dishwasher

heck of a site cheaper than a new timer or a new dishwasher and its cheap enough to take a punt at
