Beko WTG841B2W – leaking from bottom under soap drawer

Hi, We have a new Beko washing machine WTG841B2W (about 3 weeks old) and have been experiencing problems with leaks at the bottom of the machine on the front left under the soap drawer area. We originally thought it might be a hose connection but that’s not the issue. We’ve looked under the machine while it’s running and water begins to drip down after the first fill, and then increasingly as the cycle runs until there is a large puddle under the front left side. We have never used the soap drawer for detergent or fabric softener and so the inside of that area is as clean as when it was new. I’ve taken the soap drawer out and noticed there is an odd rectangular hole about 3/4 long x 1/2 inch high on the left side of the area that the drawer slides in to. I’m sure it’s probably meant to be there but I’ve never seen anything like it on previous washing machines. I wanted to add a photo but the I’m getting a message that the file is too big. It looks like it might be a bit of a wait to get a service engineer out so I’m wondering if anyone here can offer advice? Thanks
