Beko DFN26220x starts to fill with water then stops with error E02, opening and closing the door clears the errror and the machine continues filling. after about 30 seconds it stops again with the same error. at this point the water level is very high and near to overflowing, ( once i opened and closed the door for a second time and the machine overflowed into the sump causing error E01 (water leak).
My instruction book only lists 2 error codes E01 water leak and E02 no water present to fill the machine.
i suspect that a water level switch/sensor has failed but cannot find a component that fits this bill, the only thing i can find is a rotating wheel(like a fan) close to the water inlet that has magnet embedded in it and this pulses a magnetic reed switch. i have removed and tested this and the reed switch does operate. my other thought is the main control module has failed.
Now at a loss what step to take (as usual 3 months outside the gtee!!!!) any help advice would be a great helpyou seem to be in Bulgaria which means I cant pull up tech
butthe wheel thing has a magnet on it. This magnet passes a reed switch which closes as a magnet passes. make sure the connection from this is connected and working

Hi, thanks for that, it confirms my thoughts that the water intake volume is measured by this device and the pulses are counted by the control module. I took this unit out a few days ago and confirmed the reed switch was operating and a pulse was being received at the control module. All the connections looked good and the wires are intact.
To me, logic now means that the control module must have failed so I shall remove that and find some part No’s. this is not going to be a cheap part I can see this coming, anyway thanks again for the suggestion.Geoff
think I would get a reed sw and replace that first. you can very cheaply get generic reed switches and solder them in
if its the main board it will be a silly price

Changed the reed switch allthough i was happy it was working fine, just to eliminate any possibility it was maybe an intermittent fault. anyway it did not solve the error. found a secondhand micro controller board in Germany, 39Euro + shipping so though it was worth a try. it arrived today. fitted it and all appears to be fine the machine is working as it should. Thanks for the help/suggestions, maybe this will assist someone else in the future. Happy Christmas
