This is just a note about an unobvious leak. This, and other, new or very recent AEG`s have a cantiliver lower basket that works on two telescopic legs ( a bit like the telescopic legs on an estate car`s rear hatch except much shorter ) the point of leakage and so filling up the under base and triggering the emergency float switch which permantley turns on the outlet pump is where the ends of the t/legs are anchored by one nut each side of the machine as they are screwed through the tank. The nuts come loose = a leak as it washes. I do not know whether these two nuts were loose to begin with or over time just become loose, given this contraption is under a warranty and is now just over a year it is probably the latter. This is a brilliant excerise in a crazy over complicated design for frankly little real world gain; its stupid, no-doubt, sales inspired idea!
