    Hi,

I have a weird problem. My dishwasher cannot complete a programme. Towards the end of each run, the check water light comes on. I replaced the waste water pump at the bottom (it was fine BTW, which set me back 40 quid) and also removed and clean the water matrix and inlet filter. The washer seemed to work a little while (a few runs) and then the light started to come in again. I am completely puzzled right now. Any ideas what is wrong? How much would I need to pay if I were to call service?

    Many thanks.

most likley the reed switch that counts the water in is faulty. they can be intermittant
but i cant be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain but its likely

or you could solder in a small reed switch
like this but measure old on to make sure of size

    Hi Dave

Thanks for this. I will give this a try. Any tips on how to access this sensor? Also is there a way to test to see if the part is faulty before ordering a new one? I have access to a multimeter.

    Many thanks.

sensor is on left hand side so take side cover off

as for tests you cant be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} till you change it as it a switch that opens and closes as the water fills. if it makes 1 or 2 every now and then then its still faulty but multi meter wont show it
I would check wiring to it first as had one eaten be mice last year , and take plug off and put it on in case of bad joints
    then try it

if all fails its a change it and see what happens
