My first post on this site. We have the above Hoover Washer/Dryer which has been operating erratically recently. Before we consider replacing I though I’d seek any advice from fellow forum members. The machine doesn’t always perform the program selected, after a wash cycle the machine hasn’t drained (although no fault code displayed) and during drying clothes are wet. The last few days my wife noticed it a fault code displayed, E03 relating to pump drainage, I checked the waste pipe as well as the pump itself with no issues found. This morning it threw up an E08 code relating to the motor possibly the carbon brushes, with the drum not turning at all. I checked the brushes and they are not unduly worn. I have just tried an empty drying cycle and it appeared to be operating but the machine is heating up at the same time as water appearing to be pumped into the drum. Any advice from fellow members would be greatly appreciated.

there is a small amount of water used in the drying process

but if the water is not draining suspect
faulty pump these pumps can be intermittent
    or
faulty wash heater that can throw up odd faulty if the current leakage to earth is too much
