    The machine is still working just started to smoke and has been making a banging noise when on a spin ?

    well that makes sense now

    in a nutshell

    it sounds like drum failure. the smoke comes from the drum rubbing on the rubber

    time for a new one, good job its sale time

    you will probably see bits of grey rubber in with your washing

    Is it that bad lol well I just dont want to go on fire to be fair it runs ok on empty drum

    unlikely to go on fire but it will rub through the tub and then you will have water every where

    well time to stop using it. from what you say its a spider failure (drum carrier)
