Hi All,
please forgive my ignorance, I’ve tried looking for a specific model number on my parents Bosch Hob. It’s 30+ years old and the starter button has cracked again. They used to have spares but it doesn’t look like they have any left. I’ve tried scouring high and low for a replacement but so far have been unsuccessful. Could anyone please offer some assistance?

Thirty year old gas hob and in such great condition, a credit to it’s owners 😀
At that age as you are finding it will be highly unlikely any parts will be available. If the shape of the actual controller under the button is shaped like a capital D there is a universal cooker knob you can get which has different size D adaptors. Available in our shop
here it won’t look pretty but it will be functional. That aside it’s new hob time.Don

Fair play on finding that booklet. The only thing you could do would be to phone Bosch spares on 0344 892 8979 as I have known obsolete parts to be available from the spares dept in Germany. It’s not guaranteed they will have this part but it’s worth a try.

you may need the complete Enr number which will be on the bottom of the hob provided the label has survived
also when you say starter button do you mean ignition button or one of the control knobs ?
