    I have a problem with a Bosch dishwater SMS40C02GB/07
I set a programme and press start and away it goes for about 2 minutes. It stops and all the lights go out. I turn off at the mains and leave it for about 10-15 seconds and a faint click is heard at the front. I turn back on at the mains and it will run again for a little longer this time and then stops. I can keep doing this until it has heated and done wash and emptied. Any ideas on the cause and what wants replacing.

well that sounds like a board power supply problem or

you say you turn off at the mains so I assume you mean the socket
have you tried another socket ?

Yes the power supply is not the problem. The fault is in the machine.

then its likely to be the board power supply chip

That sounds expensive. It will cost more to repair than the machine is worth. Any other ideas?

    look up QER

see if they repair those boards

unless you think you can solder very small chips onto printed circuit boards

I don’t know what QER is and I can’t solder small chips.
