ParticipantMy indesit wixl123s wont spin. It fills with water then soon as it should move on to spin , nothing happens. I can only hear a couple clicks. The drive belt is still on place, it drains the water and the filter has recently been cleaned. Any helps appreciated

ParticipantThe clicks arnt loud, also for a long time we’ve had to give the door a extra push after closing to get it to lock and washing to start.

Moderatorthey wont be as good as the gen ones
keep the loads lower and use only low spin speeds starting at 800 for the first 20 washes to give the brushes a chance to bed in. The non gen brushes need more time to settle in

ModeratorThe ones in our online shop are the right ones with the brush ends at the correct angle.

Moderatorthere not even close, completely different mounting
if you want a quality part use the gen part linked above
if you want a cheaper alternative try
https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/d240…carbon-brushes
but I have stopped fitting some pattern parts due to a lowering of quality over the last 10 years

ModeratorTotally different, those are for a Welling motor not a CESET.

ParticipantBought ones you first recommended, arrived today. Machine is working now. Just put it on a spin. Can it be used as normal now?

ModeratorIf it sounds smooth on spin with no crackling noises then you should be fine.
