I have a NEFF microwave, oven, grill model number B6774N0GB/05.

When I start the microwave it runs for around 2-3 secs before switching off. I have tried all the level of settings from 600 – 900 and the problem still occurs.
Any help at all on the issue would be greatly appreciate.

2 or 3 secs sounds a bit short, most of the time it happens 8 to 10 secs in or round about

these units are based on Panasonic microwaves, as the unit starts the logic circuits detect the microwave circuit to ascertain if all is well. if no it aborts the programme

this is not something you want to play with yourself as there are lethal voltages involved

    Dave,

many thanks for the reply. I would get a local chap into fix if it is worth repairing as the new NEFF model is over £1000.

    done a few

the good thing is you can use Panasonic parts and don’t have to pay Neff prices

as an example Neff want £106 for the magnetron and you can knock over £20 off that for an identical part

Its usually the inverter when they stop after 3 seconds on that model, worth checking the door switches as well

had this fault today on a bosch microwave.

ended up being the lower microswitch not engaging due to wear on the plastic
