Does anyone have details of how to activate the pump or manually drain the washing machine it’s somehow got stuck on wash and not spun or emptied so I have a washer full of water? The manual is no longer supported on the Bosch website. Does P on the wash options mean drain I don’t want to switch to it till I know for sure what it does? Definitely time to get a new washer but sad to see this old workhorse go been a goo dish machine till this point. I just need to rescue the clothes from it now.

I once had a young spaniel who was attacked by a grumpy swarm of wasps on a lovely countryside walk. It was a scene reminiscent of attack of the killer bees we were batting away the critters as the dog howled in pain. The poor pet keeled over four paws in the air and went stiff as a board Assuming she was going into anaphylactic shock we picked her up ran to the car and rushed her to the emergency vet. On arrival we carried the body of our comatose favourite pet into the vets. The vet was ready …. the pup recognised her friendly vet leapt up wagging her tail and bounced around the surgery like a picture of health … one antibiotic injection later we left the vets many pounds ££s lighter feeling like the typical novice over protective owners and complete idiots …. so today the washing machine engineer visited our dead washing machine, asked for symptoms, noted that the water had miraculously drained overnight to our surprise, tweaked the controls, said it sounded like a dead or dying motor and condemned the old Bosch pal … the washing machine sounded alright to us the deathly creaks had vanished…. low and behold the engineer is here for less than 10 mins we are pounds ££s lighter and I’ve done two washes today
