Hi,
I was thinking of buying a combination microwave either Panasonic 754w or 883w. I looked online to see if I could get a bargain but the online sites are seelling 755 not 754. I have emailed the stores; they say the 755 is a real model. I have emailed Panasonic; they say it does not exist! What is going on? Is the 755 an import?
There are not any manuals to download from Panasonic’s site so it is difficult to comapre models before buying. I understand the 883 has a sensor for automatic cooking but it only works on ready meals, so I am unlikeely to benefit from this feature! I think my dad had a Toshiba microwave many years ago with this feature but it worked with many dishes. Why isn’t sensor cooking more common?
I understand the advantage of the 883 is that it has shelves like a normal oven. If I bought the 754 (or 5!) would I be disadvantaged by not having shelves? Does the turntable rotate if using just the grill or oven; if so I can see that being a problem for big dishes; I would have to use circular ones that would turn.
Thanks for your help in advance.
