ParticipantHello all,
I have an issue with the above dishwasher. It is 3.5 yrs old and is used every day. The dishwasher is completing the cycle each time but I have noticed it isn’t heating or drying the dishes.
From reading other posts on here I have tested the heating element resistance (I got 28 ohms at room temperature) is this normal? There are no fault codes either. I assume perhaps the temperature sensor is knackered?any assistance gratefully received.

Moderator28 ohm is about right. assume you disconnected wires to check it and measured from the connecter

ParticipantHi Dave,
Yes that’s exactly what I did. That being the case do you think it’s the temperature and turbidity sensor that’s likely to be at fault? Thanks 🙂

Moderatoryou need to measure the ntc value at temperature
values come out at 9655 ohm at 10 degrees falling to 4850 at 25 degrees
shows up as connection 3 and 4 on the turbidity connector

ParticipantThank you Dave, I borrowed a multimeter to test the heating element so don’t have it anymore to test the terbidity and temp sensor unfortunately. I have ordered another sensor in case it is this part. If the machine doesn’t work when I install the new one what else could it be do you think?
thanks,
Daryl

Moderatorthe heater is controlled by a relay on the main board. not had one go faulty on these machines but its well possible as are dry solder joints on the board
