KeymasterThermostat/s?
Without a make and model it’s not really possible to help.

ModeratorPossibly a built in White Knight. There will be a rating plate or label stuck on the back. It needs dragging out which you would have to do to repair anyway. If it is a White Knight they often have a small red reset button on the back as well.
Heating element possibly most common failure on these, also a small stat set into the heater plate can fail. If it is not just a tripped reset button then it will need someone with suitable electrical knowledge and test equipment to isolate the fault.

ParticipantOk i cannot see a reset button, i cannot uplaods any photos due to being out of linit quota even for 1 small photo, the make and model number is Diplomat APM 8620, is it repairable or is it cheaper to just to rplace it? I have had it for 14 years now.

ModeratorUntil the fault is isolated it’s not possible to know if it is repairable at a reasonable price. Still looks like a White Knight rebadge to me. Are there any other numbers at all on the rating plate stuck on the back?

ParticipantThe details on the sticker at the back are
2500 W Heater
200 W Motor
2700W
V 230-240
Hz 50
Fuze 13 A
CODE 1306 412 15020
Diplomat
IPX 4
Thats all there is, i can send photos in email but for some reason it will not let me attach any on here.

ModeratorDefinitely a White Knight, code number confirms that. Still needs opening up and components testing electrically. My money would be on the element.

ModeratorThis is the element to give you some idea of cost, always assuming that is the cause of the fault.

ParticipantThank you iadom, I will see if my electrician can have a look, hopefully it will be a quick fix, if not then a new dryer required.
