ok all you samsung engineers help is required. I have two m/cs where the motor just clicks clockwise and anticlockwise but dose not actually turn. on one of the machines the motor is a little stiff but im guessing its the magnetism of the motor now could this be board or motor problems any suggestions would be good
thanksmotor should not be stiff with power off and connector off
from what i have read most of the time its the board causing this problem. these motors use an electronically generated 3 phase supply that creates a revolving magnetic field. if you lose one phase the field is no longer rotating so the motor occellates between the 2 coils
did you check the motor coils for continuity ?
