i have been told that there are two controllers for the C9IMX-2 SMEG (serial number 07303010111823110114) . One for three cook zones on the left side, and one for the two on the right. The one on the right is broken. What spare part do I need?

from what i can see this looks like an induction hob

you will not only need a part you will also have to find out how to configure the new part or it wont work

Thanks for the reply. Does this mean that is something that is too hard for a normal guy to figure out? Are there any manuals and schematics available?

not sure if the info is out there or not. what i do know is its a sequence of moves you have to do with the knobs to tell the computers to align with each other. There are a number of different models and they all have different sequences

I dont think Smeg will give this info to a member of the public but you could ask if they will supply the part along with the configuration sequence

Thanks alot Davie for info. You have been really helpful.
Not sure if SMEG will give me the sequence.
Is this a service I might pay you to do? Any way we can fix this?

This will be a expensive repair the pcb board for these are not easy to change whole top needs to come off and like dave has mentioned there is a sequence to programme the zone with is a nightmare to do would personally insure it with d&g and have manufacture to do repair
