Hi, we have a check water warning light on our dishwasher (NEFF S54M45X5GB/90). When you start it up, the pump goes and doesn’t stop even when you open the door. We have checked the water pressure by removing the inlet hose and have cleaned the filter in the the Aquastop. We have checked for kinks and blockages in the inlet and outlet hoses. We have sponged out the water in the bottom drain and checked for any obstacles. We have removed the back panel and looked for loose wires and we have turned the mains power off and on again. Doing all this did seemed to get it working again for another day (we don’t know what fixed it), but we now have the same issue again and would be very grateful for any further suggestions. Thanks all 🙂

take off the left hand side and look at the water section. there is a red float in a chamber. check for blockages and clear it out if its full of gunge. Also chech the pipe that goes from this unit to the sump.
this can block and cause the machine to flood into the base
if that does not stop it try changing this

Many thanks for your reply electrofix. The dishwasher worked this morning as soon as we turned it on, so we are leaving it well alone for now, but if we get the warning light again we will follow your advice. Many thanks ☺
