    I trapped an item of clothing in the water tray of above model, but didnt realise til about an hour afterwards. Clothes still damp and water tray light is staying on even though theres no water and I emptied the “fluff” filter before I loaded it with laundry. Can anyone advise

    when you say you trapped clothing it the water tray
    how did you do it ?
    did it cause any damage ?

    Not that I can see no, to be honest not sure how it happened loaded as usual and emptied the bit of water in the tray and cleaned filter as always

    well the first question here has to be
    has your dryer been modified after the recall ?

    Yes mate did check on website having seen on previous posts

    i assume from your message that it has been modified. if the answer is no please tell me

    most likely fault to look for on this one is the overheat stat on top of the element. if that goes open it quite often leaves the water light on
    you need to check this first
