Our oven will not work at all.
We were away on holiday and our house sitter attempted to use the timer.
We have reset the clock and set the dial back to manual but it still is completely dead.
Can anyone advise please?

sounds like it is still on auto setting, even we struggle to set timers to manual sometimes and I cannot tell you how to do it, suggest you try and find the instruction book. A good way to try is to switch the oven on, and then play with the clock buttons, when you hit the right combination, it will burst into life.
