ParticipantThis machine just went dead while on a dry cycle…… I checked power to the main large pcb was good but nothing lighting up, so ordered a new pcb.
Connect Distribution showed 2 part numbers for this item (2437301080 + 2437301081) one was in stock and the other an 8 week wait……. I ordered the in stock of course!Checked it against the cx pcb and all wires had a place to go exactly where they were on the orig pcb, that orig pcb had a few other blocks that were not used and didn’t appear as blocks on the new pcb….. didn’t think this was an issue.
Fitted it today and it powered up fine, I was able to select any program BUT on pressing the start buton it just beeped a few times without starting — Door, hook, lock, wiring from lock to pcb are all fine, tried another lock but its still the same….. can select a program but wont lock the door to start!!!
Any ideas please?
I double checked all my connections on the pcb and lock to be good solid connections —- what am I missing — this should work in my opinion!!:(:(

ParticipantI have the same problem I posted it a couple of days ago I tried 2 of the 080 boards and it wouldnt work although after doing a test program it worked once
then not againApril 26, 2020 at 6:45 pm #468231electrofix
Moderatorthere is probably a change of board at a particular serial number. Its prob just a software change in this case but they are not interchangeble

ParticipantThanks for your research Dave, as to a repair of the orig pcb – I wouldn’t know where to start if I’m honest BUT how strange the boards are so similar yet different!!
Suedehead1 = Where have you ordered that 081 board? I use Connect but they can’t get it for 8 weeks 😮

Moderatoron the booard there will be an inrush resistor normally 50 to 100 ohms. if this has blown then if you had the ability to change the resistor and the power supply chip then the board would probably work again. I get away with it about 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time
and 8 weeks is probably in normal times with lock down things may get longer
