Hi guy hope your all keeping safe , got this washer that I replaced the brushes in, it will now wash as normal but won’t spin , the drum goes round as normal on spin but as it tries to speed up it just cuts out and then repeats as if uneven load detected any thoughts also what is the 3G sensor on the motor for?
    thanks mark

doesnt matter, the sparking will upset the electronics

i assume your using non gen brushes. What i find is they dont contact the armature properly. if you take one out and look at it you will see the brush only contacts at one side and we want it in the middle.you have to take this high spot off with emery. goes without saying dont take too much.

I automatically take a bit off the brushes before i fit them all the time. Once you see where the high spot is you can do it

i tried the gen hotpoint brushes but stopped using them. wire seemed to be shorter and carbon seems different somehow

went back to Car93.. A lot of members on here use gen but i dont have any problem with car93 as long as you alter them. Also if it goes ok advice customer to do the first 10 wahes on 800 spin, then to 1000 next 10 and so on. plus not loads of towels only to keep weight down. you can say as i do its to let the new part settle in so as it wont damage the motor
