Bosch dryer WTE84306

    hi i changed the front thermistor on this machine a few months ago due to it stopping after a few minutes now its doing it again , is it likely to be fluff behind the moisture sensor ? i cant see how to get it off any help appreciated thanks john

    i assume the container full light is not lit

    and all airways and condensor is clear

    Hi Dave yes i also cleaned the moisture sensor

    not sure but i dont think this dryer has a moisure sensor, at least its does not show on parts list

    if it has not got one then the dryness is worked out by the temperature differences from the 2 ntc’s

    air leaving the heater then cools down if clothes are wet. as they dry the temp difference changes. Well thats how i think it works

    Thanks Dave i know where the front ntc is located where is the other , also it does have two metal strips for want of a better expression just down the inside of the front would that be the moisture sensor ?

    I’ve found that this problem is a chip on the pcb. Goes for a few minutes and then shuts down. I got the chip on eBay only a few pounds

    are you talking about the power supply chip with 7 legs?

    if yes then i was assuming delta,s fault just stopped. if it was the power supply chip then the whole dryer goes dead no lights at all and you quite often have to turn it off at the plug to reset
