Hi there, I’ve a Bosch Classixx SPS40C12GB/23 FD9410 that most of the way through the cycle, I think at a pump out phase, stops and gives me a constant Check Water light.

It’s been a bit temperamental the last few days with a build up of gunk inside, and most of the items inside have come out wet – we run it at night and hadn’t really thought much of it, thinking it was condensation (if a little excessive) I ran it during the day and that’s when we noticed the cycle cutting short and the contents were not hot, so I’m assuming there may be an issue with the heater as well.

I’ve checked the waste pipe for blockages, water inlet for flow and filters, no debris in the impeller.

    Any pointers would be appreciated

Hi, I’m afraid not, I think it was a collection of issues, the thermostat also failed so the water temp was all over the place, replaced the dishwasher eventually.

very common it`s the heatpump (wash motor combined heater) that fails. Part number 12019637 £95.90 via Bosch`s spares website. So you do not get any confusing cold wash pre rinses, if you set to the quick wash with the soap dispenser with a tablet closed, as soon as you hear the tablet drop with the usual washing/sloshing noise it should then start to heat. If it does not heat it`ll either be the pcb which is not common or the heater part of the wash motor pump that has failed. Test for 15 mins before you make your diagnoses and ignore any bearly luke warm water (if that) as that will be caused by the general movement of water through the pump. There should be various videos on youtube on the subject, like I say it is very common component failure.
