ParticipantHello, This is regarding my NEFF gas hob with 4 burners . One of the burners does not work as the Control knob does not ignite the spark and only unlocks the gas . I have cleaned my burner several times but of no avail.I suspect an issue with the Control Knob as it does not initiate a spark or ignite whereas other knobs do.
Any guidance or pointers will be highly appreciated .May 17, 2020 at 1:01 pm #468778kaibart
ModeratorTry pressing down one of the other control knobs so you get the spark clicking noise the turn the gas on to the one that’s not working and see if it will ignite

ParticipantHi Kaibart,
Thats an excellent advice and it worked like a breeze. The ignite from the other knob prompted the flame from the defective control knob..Thank you so much.
Do you think its an issue with the Control know for the respective burner and does it need any replacement ?
Thank you again..Much appreciated.May 18, 2020 at 7:37 am #468780DHIRAJ S

Moderatorit will be the switch that activates the spark generator gone faulty
its a lot of work to fix ( hob has to be disconnected and stripped ), and it needs to be done by a gas qualified engineer, so go with this simple answer, its cheaper and safer
