I have been trying to diagnose why our fridge freezer is not working. It is only 3.5 years old. 2 days ago, it seemed to get noisier, with a constant noise. We noticed the freezer stopped working first, then of course the fridge. Having taken off an inside cover, there is no sign of frost. The fan is freely moving and doesn’t seem to be stuck. The compressor was very hot when I turned it off, but not sure if that is abnormal? The fridge freezer has been switched off for nearly 2 hours and the compressor is still warm. Is there any thing else I can check? Would like to try and replace a part but not sure how to find out what part!
Any ideas?
