ParticipantGood afternoon all,
Wondering if anyone can assist with a problem on the above washer?
On a wash cycle, water is drawn, agitation commences, and the heater cuts in.
However, a few minutes into the cycle it pauses/stops, and the drum action is affected in that it judders very slightly to and fro.
If a drain/spin cycle is selected it drains and spins perfectly.
There are no error codes displayed, and I suspect the main electronic board, but would welcome any advice.

ParticipantMotor control board is a common problem for a juddering motor. I usually check the 3 phases are even on the motor before swappig the board.

Hello to you!I have that same problem with the same model atm….. My machine only has 1 pcb, lying flat at the top by the facia, it doesn’t have a “motor board”
SO is it this pcb at fault? The 3 motor wires do go direct to the pcb :rolleyes:June 3, 2020 at 8:40 pm #469082murv
ParticipantThere are several versions, some have the 3ph motor control and power electronics on a separate module from the user control panel. The separate PCB is usually fitted in a plastic box under the lid (opposite side to dispenser)
This type of board is potted and often develops dry joints on the motor control IC.

ParticipantAlright, that sounds like whats happened but weird how it gets a dry joint because its covered in that gel stuff…… Thanks

ParticipantMore heat in the joints when wrapped up in a jelly jacket.

ParticipantHello All,
I have the same problem. The machine intermittently stalled during the program with the motor beginning to judder. I replaced the top mounted pcb. The problem seems worse. The motor is juddering and not just intermittently. I refitted the original pcb and the motor runs fine albeit for a while.July 19, 2023 at 9:20 pm #469086Hollytree_Technical
ParticipantDid you confirm that it is the correct part no that you fitted as according to a translated document that I have there are 2 possible boards depending on which motor and wiring harness is fitted?
Measure the laminated iron stack on the motor, if it is 46mm then it should be DC92-01223A, if however it is 35mm then it is DC92-00235G.
Also worth double checking that the wiring to the motor is good if you haven’t already.

ParticipantThanks for the reply Jem. I will look into that. I did check for continuity from the motor plug to the board.
The part was from Connect and I did question them if there was more than one version. Obviously they said there’s only one version and I’ve since come across DC92-00235G which is out of stock. Looks like a refurbished one is the way to go.July 20, 2023 at 11:55 am #469088Hollytree_Technical
ParticipantAccording to ASWO there are 5 versions of this machine, they also have got DC92-00235G in stock if you need it.
