Hello, I’m interested in purchasing the RHEM2301B microwave. Before I do so please can you tell me how to mute the buzzer/beeping sound? Thank you

    Thank you Dave
There’s nothing in the manual about muting the buzzer but a customer review here it can be done. https://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B01CSA2H0A

I’ve phoned Russell Hobbs cust ser who were no help. Guess I’ll have to go for another microwave.

in that reveiw he said he managed to silence the beep which means he has opened the case and muffled the sounder. It is something we would not recommend and it may void your guarentee

Hi, Probably too late on this one. But I have a Russel Hobs Microwave. It’s 10 years old and does an ok job considering the company / price. It is very simple to stop it beeping. However I must stress you do this at your own risk. (unplug it, don’t lick any wires blah blah). Mine was on the right hand site at the front as you remove the cover. You will see a 22mm Buzzer (). Its mounted to the PCB. with a small pair of wire snips, just cut one of the connectors. Job done
